What are the main Budget 2011 points so far?
* Big tax relief is back for 1st time and 2nd Time buyers of residential property in 2012
* No Capital Gains tax on property bought in the next 2 years, and then not sold for 7 years
* More tax on inheritances and gifts than previous
* Stamp Duty on shops/pubs/offices/warehouses is down to 2%
* For compliant builders the 35% rate is dropped to 20% & 0% if you keep up to date
* If you are cultivating work and markets in Russia, India, South Africa and China, you pay no Irish Income Tax on your wages if you are there for 60 days +/year
* If a new company starts a new business, then no Corporation Tax or CGT for the next 3 years (we form companies for free)
* The low 9% vat rate remains on hotels, restaurants.... which keeps places open and people employed
